Why does tuition remain the same for the months MTDS is closed for vacations?
Tuition is based on the entire dance program, which is split into even monthly payments. Tuition is not based on how many individual classes are held per month.
Why can't I come into the classroom during class to watch my child?
It is distracting to both students and instructors to have parents in the dance room. It is important for students to learn to work independently and with their instructor and peers. You will always be able to observe your child's progress through our TV monitor located in the lobby.
Why does my child need to follow a dress code for every class?
A dress code allows instructors to see the dancer's body alignment and positioning. It helps create a professional environment in every class, allowing students to learn discipline and focus their energy on their training.
What are the differences between Motion’s recreational level classes and the competition team?
The recreational level is a great choice for students who are looking to dance for fun or don't have a lot of time in their schedule for classes. Our recreational classes are instructed by the same qualified professionals who will make sure students are learning proper technique and receiving great training. Our competition team is for students who choose dance as their main extra-curricular activity and are looking for a pre-professional level of training. Students may join the competition team by invitation or audition.
